Book Summary
George and Harold, two mischievous fourth-graders, create a new comic book villain named Professor Poopypants. This villain, whose real name is Tippy Tinkletrousers, is a brilliant scientist who is constantly mocked for his silly name. He comes to their town with a plan to get revenge on everyone who ever laughed at him by changing everyone's names to ridiculous ones and then using his inventions, the Shrinky-Pig 2000 and the Growth Ray, to shrink and then enlarge things. Captain Underpants, the superhero alter-ego of their principal Mr. Krupp, must step in to stop Professor Poopypants and save the town from his perilous plot.
