Pinkalicious loves the color pink more than anything. However, her friends at school tell her that pink is not 'in' anymore. Feeling sad and wanting to fit in, Pinkalicious tries to like other colors like blue, green, and yellow, but she feels dull and not like herself. She decides to find a new 'super-duper' color. Through mixing her favorite pink paint with blue paint, she discovers a beautiful new color: purple! Pinkalicious realizes that purple makes her feel special and unique.
