Book Summary

The Bailey School Kids (Liza, Melody, Howie, and Eddie) are at the mall during the Christmas season. They meet the mall Santa, Mr. Mingle, who seems to know an unusual amount about them and their Christmas wishes. As they observe him, they notice several strange things, like his old-fashioned sleigh, his ability to find a lost dog, and his knowledge of what's inside wrapped packages. Despite Mr. Mingle's attempts to deny it and act like a normal person, the kids become convinced that he is, in fact, the real Santa Claus.
