Book Summary

Five ordinary teenagers – Jake, Rachel, Tobias, Cassie, and Marco – take a shortcut through an abandoned construction site and witness a shocking alien spaceship crash. A dying alien, Elfangor, gives them the power to morph into any animal they touch, warning them about the parasitic Yeerks who are secretly invading Earth by taking over human hosts. The kids, now known as the Animorphs, decide to fight back. They discover that their assistant principal, Mr. Chapman, is a Yeerk Controller and embark on a dangerous mission to infiltrate the Yeerks' underground pool.
