Wild Born is the first book in the Spirit Animals series. It introduces four children from different lands – Conor, Abeke, Meilin, and Rollan – who each summon a legendary spirit animal, known as one of the Four Fallen Beasts. They are brought to a secret sanctuary called Greenhaven to train and learn about their unique bonds. They discover a great evil, the Devourer, is rising, and its agents, the Conquerors, seek to capture the Fallen Beasts and their bonded children.
